Others may claim they've got a great Work-At-Home information program, but - when we order their directory or online database to check on it - we find that most of the companies "they" list - we have already checked out and failed (because they didn't meet our standards). If you could put all the Work-at-Home directories side by side and compare them (like we have!) you would be amazed at the junk out there. We
have enabled thousands of people to have access to information to make money
from their homes. Working at home can be absolutely the greatest life
enhancer there is - if done right. To begin with, you need the right
information. Our research team spends lots of time searching through these types
of companies. They spend countless hours scouring hundreds of sources for
companies offering legitimate home-based income opportunities. You may
access this valuable information via our on-line databases or in our directory
books. 
Over the last eleven years our company has developed an enormous amount of
industry contacts and knowledge. Our researchers use this knowledge to
select potential companies that we deem worthy of additional research. We
do this by phone and/or mail and the Internet. Our company then checks
their record at their local Association for promoting Better Business, and
sometimes with local government agencies. Although this does not
constitute any kind of endorsement, if a company has had a history of not
cooperating with these agencies then they are disqualified by the NIC research
team.
After all this research is
completed, the candidate company's file goes to NIC management for review, and
possible approval. If the company is approved they are added to our
database. Each company included in our directory is checked and
reviewed at least annually, though usually more often. In addition, we
monitor customer service between the companies in our directory and our members
closely. Even though NIC does not represent these companies in any way, we
do attempt to solve customer concerns with them. If a company shows a
pattern of uncooperative or unfair business practices they are removed from our
directory. Fortunately, because we do our homework this rarely ever
happens. Although these companies are independent from NIC, we do
bring qualified and competent workers to their attention at little or no cost to
them, so it is in the company's best interest to cooperate with us. If one of our
members has a question or problem with one of the companies in our database, we
do our very best to ensure it is answered and/or resolved.
Additionally, input from our members is valuable in keeping our information
up-to-date and including only the highest quality companies available.
